Theia thermal pools
She who shines widely
An enjoyable walk through the striking countryside of Val d’Orcia will take you from the Hotel Miralaghi to the brand-new ‘Theia’ thermal pools...the Bath of the Etruscans. Even the name of this new spa centre reminds us of its connexion to the ancient people who lived in the valley in centuries gone by: Theia, ‘she who shines widely’ in Etruscan mythology, was the mother of Selena.
Fed by the healthful waters of the Sillene spring, the Theia thermal pools are four inside basins and three outdoor basins, connected to each other to form a total surface of 500 square metres. The water temperature varies between 33 and 36 degrees and the basins are kept circulating by pleasant jets of water and relaxing hydromassages. Allow yourself a day of wellness and regenerating rest, immersed in these waters and their anti-inflammatory and nutrient-rich properties, and enjoy the wellness centre with its sauna, Turkish bath, mud baths, sensory showers and cold shower.
